Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle has tasked Rangers striker Cyriel Dessers with leading the attack for Nigeria in their Unity Cup final against Jamaica, Soccernet.ng reports.
Chelle has made four changes to the team that defeated Ghana 2-1 in their opening game of the Unity Cup on Wednesday.
Semi Ajayi, who was involved in Nigeria’s second goal against Ghana has been dropped to the bench for the Jamaica fixture.
Bruno Onyemaechi, Papa Daniel Mustapha, and Sikiru Alimi have also been relegated to the bench for the final against Jamaica at the Brentford Community Stadium.
In their places, Chelle has named Nathan Tella and Moses Simon. The Franco-Malian tactician has also handed debuts to Werder Bremen and Brentford defenders Felix Agu and Benjamin Fredrick.
In goal, Stanley Nwabali keeps his place after his brilliant display against Ghana. Then, Igoh Ogbu and Fredrick start in the heart of the defence.
Sodiq Ismaila keeps his place at right back, while Felix Agu replaces Bruno Onyemaechi.
Wilfred Ndidi sits just in front of the back four. He is partnered by Frank Onyeka, who will operate as the center midfielder. Nathan Tella will play just in front of them.
In the attack, Samuel Chukwueze retains his place in the starting lineup. On the left, Moses Simon has replaced Sikiru Alimi. In the striker’s position, Dessers keeps his place.
