WATCH THE VIDEO HERE The United States Men’s National Team face Bolivia in their first match at the Copa America on June 23 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas and the hosts will be eyeing all three points against their Group C opponents. Having been drawn against Uruguay, Panama and Bolivia in the group stage, expectations are flying as USMNT fans feel their team should have no problems booking a place in the quarterfinals, given the amount of quality at their disposal especially in attack. Speaking of quality in the USMNT front line, we can look no further than AC Milan forward and USMNT skipper Christian Pulisic who heads into the Copa America off the back of the most prolific season of his career with the Italian Serie A side. The 25-year-old winger bagged 26 goals across 50 appearances for the Rossoneri last season. The USMNT head coach Gregg Berhalter will be hoping his captain can translate that form into his Copa 2024 performance and inspire the hosts on a deep run. The USMNT failed to secure a win in their two international friendlies leading up to Copa America 2024. However, Berhalter’s team begins the tournament against a much easier opponent in Bolivia, providing an ideal opportunity for the hosts to start their Copa campaign in a very strong fashion. Bolivia enters the Copa America with only two wins in their last 14 matches. La Verde have struggled to establish a consistent starting XI, and the frequent changes in formation and players has not done the team any good. USMNT forwards Pulisic, Folarin Balogun, and Tim Weah should have ample opportunities against Bolivia’s defense and they will be aiming to score multiple goals after being limited to just one goal against both Colombia and Brazil.
