Big Brother Naija former housemate Mercy Eke has reacted to the news that US rapper Cardi B is expecting her first child with her new partner, Stefon Diggs.
Kemi Filani reported on Wednesday that the rapper, who is gearing up for her sophomore album, confirmed in an interview with CBS Mornings that she is expecting a child with New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs, amid her divorce from her rapper husband, Offset.
The 32-year-old “Bodak Yellow” rapper revealed that she hasn’t told her parents as she is scared of them.
The pregnancy news has left many social media users in shock as the rapper just welcomed her third child with her husband, whom she has since filed for divorce from, and has only been dating her new man for less than a year. Cardi B and her estranged husband share three kids together: a daughter, Kulture, a son, Wave, and another daughter, Blossom. The former couple are still in court ironing out their divorce.
Reacting to the news via her Snapchat page, Mercy Eke noted that when a Libra is done with a person, there is no turning back.
According to her, Libras deeply forgive, are endlessly patient, and endure the most, often apologising even when they’re right. She noted how they give countless chances, but when they’re done, there’s no turning back.
“One thing about a Libra, we’re deeply loving & endlessly patient. We endure the most, often apologising even when we’re right, not out of weakness, but out of love. We give countless chances, but once a Libra woman is truly fine, there’s no turning back”.
In another post, Mercy expressed her happiness for Cardi, noting that she deserves true happiness.
“We all deserve true happiness”.
Her post didn’t sit well with some, who condemned her.
