Vi has introduced eSIM services for its prepaid customers in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and Goa, aiming to offer faster and eco-friendly connectivity. The company emphasizes that eSIMs contribute to sustainability and facilitate faster connectivity and adoption of new technologies.

How to Get Vi eSIM on Your Phone

Existing Customers

• To start the eSIM activation process, text “eSIM” followed by a space and your registered email address to 199.
• Receive a confirmation SMS and reply with “ESIMY” within 15 minutes.
• Provide consent over a call.
• Receive a QR Code on your email and scan it in Settings > Mobile Data > Add data plan.
• Activate your eSIM within 30 minutes.

New Customers

• Visit the nearest Vi store with identity proof.
• Follow the activation process for a hassle-free experience.
• Alternatively, use the online journey on myvi.in for prepaid subscribers.

Vi eSIM is accessible to iOS and Android users, with a list of compatible smartphones available.
