Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen could still join Chelsea this summer, but the transfer could potentially trigger a crazy transfer circle, Soccernet.ng reports.

Osimhen’s future has continued to dominate the news again, as the Super Eagles star is expected to make a transfer this summer.

After his superb performances for Napoli, Osimhen was billed to leave the club for a bigger team last summer.

However, he failed to get his move and had to join Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray after he was excluded from Conte’s plans for the campaign.

That deal paid off for Osimhen, as he delivered the goods for the Rams, contributing 37 goals and eight assists in 41 appearances to help them win the Super Lig and the Turkish Cup.

The deal was supposed to last for just last season, but Galatasaray now want to make the transfer permanent. The club and their fans have employed different tactics to convince Osimhen to sign a new deal.

Meanwhile, the Super Eagles star has always eyed a place in a big club in one of Europe’s top five leagues.

English Premier League sides Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea have all been linked with the Super Eagles star, but none of them is yet to table a good offer.

Chelsea even signed another striker Liam Delap from Ipswich Town, pouring cold water on a move for Osimhen.

Can Victor Osimhen still join Chelsea?

Despite the current situation, Victor Osimhen could still land in Chelsea. According to Turkish football expert Serdar Ali Celikler, per ChelsTransfer, the Blues could sign Osimhen from Chelsea.

Then, Galatasaray would sign Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea to fill the void that Osimhen would leave. The former UEFA Champions League winners might let go of Jackson, as Osimhen’s arrival would take the number of senior team strikers to five.

However, it would be a crazy move if Galatasaray pull the deal off due to Jackson’s value and the finances that would be involved in the deal.
