Victor Osimhen remains keen on a move to Chelsea this summer, with the Premier League club understood to be his preferred destination, footynaija.com reports.

However, the Stamford Bridge hierarchy are yet to submit a formal offer for the prolific Nigerian striker, as per Fotomac.

Despite serious interest from Saudi Arabian clubs, Osimhen has so far resisted their lucrative proposals.

The 26-year-old also turned down a move to Juventus, while Paris Saint-Germain, another club monitoring his situation, have yet to take decisive action. Should PSG table a strong bid, Galatasaray could face a serious challenge in retaining their star forward.

Osimhen joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan from Napoli after Chelsea baulked at his high wage demands last summer.

But the Super Lig champions reaped the rewards, with the Nigerian scoring 36 goals in all competitions to fire the Istanbul giants to the league title. His impact was so immense that fans displayed banners pleading for him to stay during Gala’s title-clinching win over Kayserispor.

Still, uncertainty looms. Chelsea have not ruled out reigniting their interest, though sources suggest the Blues are also eyeing younger, more affordable options to bolster their attacking options. Liam Delap, Hugo Ekitike, and Benjamin Sesko are all being considered as alternatives.

Osimhen has long expressed his desire to play in the Premier League, and a move to Chelsea remains very much on the cards—if the club is willing to adjust their wage structure.

With manager Enzo Maresca aiming to sharpen his attacking arsenal for the 2025/26 campaign, a decision on Osimhen could define the Blues’ summer transfer strategy.
