Victor Osimhen scored a brace to drag Galatasaray to a 3-1 victory over Bodo Glimt on Wednesday….
Galatasaray coach Orkan Buruk has asserted that Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is worth more than €100 million, Soccernet.ng reports.
Osimhen was the star of the show for Galatasaray on Wednesday, as he scored a brace for them in their 3-1 win over Noriweguan giants Bodo Glimt in the UEFA Champions League.
Asides from his goals, Osimhen looked very lively, sharp and hungry. He could have even bagged an assist if not for the profligacy of his teammates.
Nonetheless, Osimhen’s brace ensured that he became the first player since Burak Yilmaz in 2013, to score in seven consecutive European games for the Cimbom.
The result took Galatasaray to 14th in the Champions League standings, with six points from their first three games, and they can dream of making it into the automatic qualification spots.
Following their victory over Bodo Glimt, Galatasaray coach Buruk, who also played in the UCL for Inter Milan, has expressed his elation with Osimhen’s performance.
Recall that the Turkish champions signed Osimhen from Napoli for €75 million. But Buruk has stated that the Super Eagles star is even worth more than €100 million.

“Alongside his goalscoring prowess, Osimhen is an important team player, an elite player,” Buruk said, per Son Dakika Haberleri.
“We had said that we could discuss €75 million being low at the start of the season. In Europe, 100 million more is paid for players of this type.”
Buruk will be hoping that Victor Osimhen continues shinning for Galatasaray and possibly lead them into the knockout rounds of the Champions League.
Is Orkan Buruk Right About Victor Osimhen’s Value?
Orkan Buruk’s comments aren’t entirely far from the realities of the transfer market. Nowadays, players that are not even world class go for much as €100 million or even close.
In fact, in the just-concluded transfer market, players like Nick Woltemade, Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, were bought for incredible amounts.

As such, Victor Osimhen could be rated at €100 million, based on his quality and impeccable ability.
