His release was announced by Biodun Aderohunmu, the national secretary of the council, on Saturday. In a video released on Saturday evening, Olajuni confirmed his release, saying: “I have been released. I was released in Ibillo in Edo State. My name is Prince Eniola Olajuni, Afenifere youth leader,” he said. The kidnappers had initially demanded a ransom of N100 million and two tricycles for his freedom.
