VIDEO: Chaos as Enugu Air officials forcibly deplane passenger

Enugu Air 1

Chaos erupted aboard an Enugu Air flight on Monday when officials forcibly deplaned a passenger, thrusting the newly launched state-owned airline into the spotlight.

A video trending on social media shows airline officials dragging a male passenger off the aircraft.

In the footage, a voice is heard saying, “Yes, yes, go down,” indicating that some bystanders appeared to support the removal.

The reason for the incident has not yet been disclosed.

The passenger remains unidentified, and as of press time, neither the airline nor the individual involved has issued any statement clarifying what happened.

The video, clearly showing the Enugu Air logo on the plane, captures the passenger being led away amid visible commotion.

The episode comes after a string of high-profile confrontations on Nigerian flights, including Comfort Emmanson’s clash with Ibom Air attendants on a Uyo–Lagos flight, and King Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as KWAM 1 or K1 De Ultimate, reportedly engaging in a dispute with ValueJet Airlines at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.

Observers on social media have since compared these cases, pointing to rising concerns over passenger–airline relations in Nigeria’s domestic aviation sector.
