Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has addressed netizens who have been mocking her over her marital woes with her estranged husband, Ned Nwoko.
Naijaonpoint reports that the duo are currently at loggerheads over the arrest of her brother, Sammy West.
The rift between the couple began after a viral clip showed Regina crying out that she was being assaulted by her husband.
However, Nwoko debunked the allegation, stating that his wife was a drug addict who needed to be in rehab.
The actress and her family later alleged that Nwoko had arrested Sammy West and vowed not to set him free until his wife returns home and begins rehab.
In subsequent posts, the actress has cried out to Nigerians for help, lamenting that her estranged husband was going to great lengths to keep her brother locked up.
Some netizens, however, blamed the actress for her woes, stating that she has often flaunted her husband’s wealth in their faces.
Reacting via a video shared on her Insta Story, the mother of two questioned if people wanted her to share her pain.
She lamented that people do not share their pain because they are afraid of getting mocked.
According to her, “It’s ok to laugh and say oh when she was flaunting the wealth were we enjoying it with her. It’s ok, but nobody ever flaunt their sadness. No one ever does that, you know why, because of this very reason, mockery. As long as you are not in my shoes, you will never understand. What were you guys expecting me to show that I was being beaten, that I was sad, no.”
