Video footage showing the brutal stabbing of Canadian rapper Tory Lanez has been leaked online.
In the video, Lanez can be seen walking up the prison stairwell before he is attacked. He is seen trying to fight back, even when he is lying on the ground.
Lanez was stabbed a staggering 14 times — including seven wounds to the back, four to the abdomen, two to the back of the head, and one to the face.

The attack reportedly left him with two collapsed lungs, and Lanez was placed on a breathing machine as a result. Lanez is off the machine and has been transferred to a different prison.
Lanez’s attacker, Santino Casio, has been locked down in L.A. County since way back in February 2004, serving life with a shot at parole after catching a heavy second-degree murder charge, plus attempted first-degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon.
In 2008, while already behind bars, Casio caught another six years out in Imperial County for putting in work on another inmate with a weapon that could do severe damage. A decade later, in 2018, he added two more years to his sentence after getting caught manufacturing and holding another deadly weapon inside.
