The South African National Defence Force (SANDF) is cracking the whip after a jaw-dropping video of a female soldier went viral showing her dancing, undressing, and almost baring it all while still in her official uniform.
In the clip, the unidentified soldier can be seen swaying to music, removing her SANDF jacket to reveal a bra, before dramatically pulling down her trousers, flashing her underwear. She even began lowering her underwear before the footage abruptly cut, leaving viewers stunned.
The SANDF has now issued a statement, warning all soldiers to maintain discipline and respect the uniform, reminding them that posting videos in military gear for social media clout is strictly prohibited.
“The SANDF urges members to conduct themselves with dignity at all times, especially while in uniform. Any behaviour that undermines the integrity of the Defence Force will not be tolerated,” the statement read.
The video has sparked heated debate online with some condemning the soldier for tarnishing the military’s image, while others defended her, calling the backlash overblown.
Either way, SANDF has made one thing crystal clear: uniform or not, soldiers caught misbehaving on camera can face serious disciplinary action.
