Victor Osimhen has swapped the treatment table for a night out in Istanbul, where the Galatasaray striker was filmed with Manchester United legend Patrice Evra and Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold, Soccernet.ng reports.

The 26-year-old Super Eagles star was spotted in Istanbul enjoying a night out with Manchester United legend Patrice Evra and Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold.

A viral video showed Osimhen introducing the award-winning artist to Evra, joking about his United fandom before the group settled into drinks and music.

Osimhen’s evening chill out with friends comes after weeks of frustration for the former Napoli man, who was sidelined with an ankle injury picked up during Nigeria’s 1-0 World Cup qualifying win over Rwanda on September 6.

The ex-Lille forward was forced off midway through the first half after a challenge from Claude Niyomugabo, and scans later confirmed bruise in his ligament and internal bleeding in his ankle.

The injury kept him out of Nigeria’s 1-1 draw against South Africa, Galatasaray’s league win over Eyupspor, and most painfully, the Turkish champions’ humiliating 5-1 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt in their Champions League opener.

Osimhen, who arrived from Napoli in the summer for €75m, had been in blistering form before the setback, scoring twice in his first three league games. He also netted against Rwanda in Uyo, though the strike was chalked off for offside before he left the pitch.

Galatasaray confirmed at the weekend that that their record signing has resumed partial team and individual training. Osimhen is, therefore, in line to feature in upcoming Super Lig fixtures against Konyaspor and Alanyaspor.

But the real target is September 30, when Arne Slot’s Liverpool visit Rams Park in what could prove decisive for Gala’s Champions League campaign.

The Turkish giants know they need their talisman firing. Last season, Osimhen struck 37 times and added eight assists in 41 appearances across all competitions – numbers that convinced Gala to break their transfer record to lure him from Naples.

While fans will enjoy seeing him share the spotlight with Evra and Adekunle Gold, Galatasaray supporters will care more about whether Osimhen is fit to lead the club’s attack in the coming days.
