“We all go through something heavy” – Rapper Ikechukwu says as he declares full support for 2baba amid marital drama

Nigerian rapper and actor Ikechukwu Onunaku has declared his support for music icon, 2baba, amid his marital issues.

On his Instagram page, he noted how we all go through something heavy behind the scenes, and regardless of opinions and judgements, rights and wrongs, he stands with 2baba.

Calling him his brother, he said that this too would pass and assured him that God was with him.

“We all go through something heavy. Some behind the scenes, some public. Regardless of opinions and judgements, rights and wrongs, I stand with my bro @official2baba.
This too shall pass. God got you.
And when it does, we go celebrate ye”.

A day back, a former staff member of 2baba, identified as Kaka, granted an interview to Freeze, alleging that Natasha frequently hindered the singer’s growth and exerted psychological control over him.

According to Kaka, 2Baba rarely spoke up against her in Nigeria, but while on tour abroad, he was more vocal about wanting his music and business to progress. Kaka further alleged that Natasha was insecure about the singer’s success, fearing it would make him harder to control. He described her behaviour as psychologically diminishing, adding that he eventually cut ties with the couple because he believed Natasha’s conduct impeded 2Baba’s career.

Surprisingly, 2baba had joined the Live broadcast to address the situation when he and Natasha got into a heated argument. The singer quickly exited the live stream, fueling more tension between the couple.

This came hours after videos released online shown the moment, 2baba was arrested on handcuffs in October, after an altercation with Natasha in the UK.

BBNaija Leo DaSilva’s wife, Mariam Laushi, while reacting to the singer’s marital drama, mocked him for leaving his wife, Annie Idibia, to enter a toxīc relationship at his big age. She told netizens not to pity the music icon.

Also, reacting to it, Daddy Freeze said that if anything happens to the music icon tomorrow, no one will hold him accountable, as he had tried to do for him. He said what happened in his Instagram Live traumatised him, and it was scary. He said he was bothered by the couple and told those close to them to intervene.

Recall that when the news of 2baba’s engagement made rounds online, his mother made a passionate appeal to Natasha. She begged the Edo lawmaker to remove the beads she kept on her son’s hands and neck and free him. Rose noted how her son was going through a divorce process from Annie and as such, wasn’t in his right senses.

His younger brother, Charles Idibia, claimed that he had been captured from inside the frying pan and thrown into an industrial furnace as he accused his girlfriend, Natasha, of controlling and manipulating him. He urged his brother to wake up for the sake of his kids.

Media personality, Do2dtun expressed concern for the singer, noting that 2baba never addresses anything like this. He expressed believed that 2baba is vulnerable and someone is milking it and forcing him to be who he isn’t.

Comedian, Ayo Makun noted how it is easy to cast the first stone at the supposed offender. He further noted that no one is questioning whether the singer is okay, as many don’t care. Ayo pointed out how, as men, they’re raised to suffer in silence, whether right or wrong.

Singer, Cynthia Morgan told Natasha that she can’t purge a man like 2face into monogamy overnight. Calling for prayers for the singer, she questioned whether he is a Christian and a church leader.
