Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, has shared details of her childbirth journey after welcoming her first child with Tanzanian singer Juma Jux.
The new mother explained that she was rushed to the hospital around 3 a.m. when labour contractions began.
Naijaonpoint reports that this cut short her initial plan of dressing up and creating content for the moment.
She said that her son arrived earlier than expected, even though his due date was set to fall on the same day as his father’s birthday.
She wrote: “We had to rush to the hospital at 3am! Contractions isn’t a joke, all plans to slay at the hospital and create content were cancelled. Me: Rakeem, your due date is the same as Papa. Rakeem: Please, this woman, I want my day alone. @juma_jux sorry, my love, your son wants to shine alone”.
The couple officially tied the knot earlier in the year through a six-part wedding ceremony held across Tanzania and Nigeria between February and May.
Priscilla and Juma revealed in July that they were expecting their first child through a joint announcement on Instagram.
Shortly after, a baby shower was held in Canada on July 27, attended by family and friends, including Iyabo Ojo and actress Lola Alao.
They posted photos from their maternity shoot, followed by a gender reveal party in Tanzania, where it was disclosed they were expecting a baby boy.
