WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Media personality Toke Makinwa has cleared the air on why she called out famous singer, 2baba for announcing his separation from Annie Idibia. It is no longer news that the singer and his actress are having another marital crisis and this time, 2baba announced via his Instagram page that they are headed for divorce. Though he did not state why, he promised to address the public soon. Toke, who wasn’t pleased with his statement, had lashed out at him as she expressed disappointment in his behavior. She told him that she and others would stand by Annie, during the tough moment. Now, taking to her Instagram story to clear the air, Toke made it known that she isn’t advising anyone to stay in a situation that is not serving them any purpose. She stated that her problem is him bringing it on social media, especially at this moment. She stated that she knows what goes on behind closed doors, which the world doesn’t know of. Toke reaffirmed that she would stand by Annie as she noted how time is everything, and that people would know the truth someday. “Nobody is asking anybody to stay in a situation that’s not serving them any purpose anymore. By all means, leave if you just want, but why bring this online at this very moment? We know what’s going on behind closed doors. The world doesn’t know anything; it’s already been hectic with opinions flying around, and when I say we will fight for her, I’m not talking about the general public. A handful of people know the truth and time will tell. In another post, she stated that any lady who sits on the fence about this would experience such in the future. She stated that if 2baba wanted to bring their drama online, knowing what was happening, they would fight for Annie. She added, “I’m not one for too much talk, but what is wrong is wrong, and as a woman, if you sit on the fence on this one, if it misses you, it’ll touch your daughter or any female in your family.
Timing is everything.
Empathy is everything.
You constantly preach love, you cannot add to the narrative that’s out here when you know what is really happening behind closed doors”.
No one is innocent, and if you want to bring the media into it, knowing what is happening, we will fight for her”.
