Nigerian lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, has questioned why embattled Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has failed to release the sexual harassment evidence against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

According to him, this is the appropriate time for the Kogi Central senator to release evidence that would vindicate her.

Recall that Natasha had, in an interview with Arise TV, accused Akpabio of making sexual advances towards her and making it difficult for her to carry out her legislative duties.

The allegation was preceded by Akpoti-Uduaghan’s outburst against Akpabio over the seating arrangement at the senate chamber.

She was suspended on March 6 for six months over the seat reallocation altercation.

On Tuesday, she visited the legislative complex to resume her duties after an Abuja court ruled that her suspension was excessive and that she should be recalled.

However, her attempt to resume was rebuffed as she was denied entry into the complex.

Speaking via a post on Facebook, Adeyanju opined that it is high time Senator Natasha released the evidence of sexual harassment against Akpabio.

He wrote, “Should this not be the appropriate time to release the sexual harassment evidence against Akpabio, or what is she still waiting for? I think she said she will release the evidence at the appropriate time. When will the appropriate time be?”
