Super Eagles invitee Gift Orban has reacted to his performance for TSG Hoffenheim, as they secured a 2-2 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt, Soccernet.ng reports.

In the 65th minute, the former KAA Gent forward found the back of the net from close range, capitalising on a pass from Adam Hlozek.

Orban took to social media to praise his team’s performance, despite the draw. “Good performance for the team,” he wrote following the match.

Meanwhile, Hlozek also praised the team’s efforts, particularly the attacking line, which ensured they earned a valuable point in their fight against relegation.

“We deserved more than one point today. I’m very tired but happy we got another point. We want to continue like this. It was a very crazy game, but we did well and were dominant. That’s exactly how we want to play. I was very emotional after my goal. We make too many mistakes, but today it worked better. We were compact,” he said on the club’s official website.

Orban, who joined Hoffenheim from French Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyon in early January, has scored in his third appearance for the German side.

The striker struggled in France, and his lack of goals contributed to him being pushed out by Lyon. His last goal came in a 4-3 victory over Strasbourg, where he scored a brace.
