Ademola Lookman got his first goal contribution in five months for Atalanta…
Atalanta coach Ivan Juric has praised Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman after he scored the equalizer in their 1-1 draw against AC Milan in their Serie A game on Wednesday, Soccernet.ng reports.
Going into Atalanta’s game against AC Milan at the Gewiss Stadium on Wednesday, Lookman had failed to get a goal contribution since May 12.
Obviously, his transfer battle with Atalanta played a big role in the issue, as he did not even have a pre-season, as he was trying to force the ckubto sell him.
Coach Juric has been quite open about the 28-year-old’s situation. At the start of the campaign, he was quite critical of Lookman, due to his reaction to his failed transfer. Juric even questioned his professionalism.
But since Lookman started playing regularly in recent weeks, the Croatian tactician has backed the Super Eagles star. Still, his failure to get amongst the goals has been an issue of concern.
Before Atalanta’s game against AC Milan on Tuesday, Juric complained about Lookman’s goal drought. However, he still expressed optimism that the Super Eagles star will still return to his best.

Lookman finally rewarded Juric for his trust on Tuesday with an important goal for La Dea in their 1-1 draw against the Rossoneri.
How Juric Reacted To Ademola Lookman’s Breakthrough
After Atalanta’s game against AC MIlan, Juric was quite impressed with Ademola Lookman’s performance, and he showered encomiums on the Super Eagles star.

“We forced him (Lookman) to play 90 minutes in some games to get him into condition. He’s a unique guy, but in the game (against AC MIlan), he’s phenomenal, I’m very happy for him, he’s a spectacle,” Juric said, per Tuttosport.
Juric will be hoping that Lookman continues to score for Atalanta in the coming weeks and spur them to win games in the coming weeks.
