“What started as an excitement quickly turned into me crying my eyes out and praying” – BBNaija Queen Atang emotional as her daughter begins her first day of school

Big Brother Naija’s former housemate and actress Queen Mercy Atang has been left emotional as her daughter begins school.

The single mother shared a video of her daughter’s first day of school, in which she revealed that she got emotional, broke down in the car, and prayed like never before.

Giving a special shout-out to parents, she declared them the real MVPs as she questioned how they do it. Queen revealed that she had to wait outside the whole time until closing and when it was time to pick up her daughter, she flew in like lighting.

Queen said the level of confusion she experienced today was unreal, and she couldn’t even figure out what to cook for lunch for her mini-me. The wife of David Oyekanmi expressed gratitude to God for the journey, stating that it feels like the true beginning of motherhood for her, and she is ready to embrace it.

I literally waited outside the school the whole time until closing. And when it was time to pick up my princess, I flew in like lightning! It’s funny how I was just saying, “Thank God you’re starting school; I need my peace.” Suddenly, I didn’t want peace anymore.
I just wanted to be sure my baby was okay every single second.

Today, I finally understood why our parents have BP problems. From childbirth to raising a child to starting school this phase is no joke. Honestly, it’s enough to raise anyone’s blood pressure. God, please help us all.
