IMG 5702 1

Candidates of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Superintendent Cadre recruitment test are reporting difficulties accessing the Batch B online test today, Thursday, 2nd October 2025.

Many users are encountering the following error on the official exam portal (https://exam.customs.gov.ng):

Rate Limited – Too Many Requests

Your requests are being limited because we’ve received too many in a short period. This helps keep the service reliable for everyone.

Retry available in 3592s

Error code: 429

Retry now

What can I do?

If this continues, try reducing the frequency of requests, check for automated scripts, or contact support with a timestamp and request details.

Steps to Follow if You Can’t Access NCS Exam Portal:

  1. Be Patient: Avoid repeatedly attempting to log in quickly, as this may worsen the problem or lock you out.
  2. Use a Stable Network: Ensure you are connected to a reliable internet connection.
  3. Change Your Browser: Try accessing the portal using a different web browser to see if it resolves the issue.
  4. Use the Correct Portal: Only access the test at https://exam.customs.gov.ng.
  5. Check Your Batch and Schedule: Confirm your assigned batch, date, and time at https://updates.customs.gov.ng.
  6. Retry Strategically: If the “Rate Limited” message appears, wait for the indicated time before trying again.
  7. Contact Support if Necessary: If the issue persists, reach out to support with your timestamp and error details.

Current Test Status:

  • Some Batch B candidates have successfully logged in and started their exams after multiple attempts.
  • Others are still unable to access the portal.
  • Batch C remains scheduled for 5:00 PM.
  • Batch A candidates earlier today experienced similar issues, though many completed the test successfully.

Important Reminder:

  • This test is strictly for Superintendent Cadre applicants.
  • Candidates under Inspectorate and Assistant Cadres should wait for separate notifications.

Candidates are encouraged to remain calm, follow these steps carefully, and monitor the official portals to avoid disqualification.
