Big Brother Naija’s former housemate, Bamike Olawunmi Adenibuyan, better known as Bambam, has revealed the lessons she learnt from celebrity designer Veekee James, who turned 30 a day back.

Taking to her Instagram page, Bambam said Veekee reminded her that when grace meets consistency, the sky isn’t the limit, it’s just the beginning. She appreciated the celebrity designer for showing what grace in motion looks like as she declared that the designer isn’t just turning 30 but walking deeper into destiny.

Bambam further revealed that she walked into a room grateful, not just for beauty, but for growth. She stated that she has learned that as long as one is honest, accountable and anchored by God, they will never truly be off track.

“Hey family, I walked into the room grateful… not just for beauty, but for growth. The kind that’s not always perfect sometimes messy, sometimes misunderstood. But I’ve learned that as long as we’re honest, accountable, and anchored in God, we’re never truly off track.

Veekee at 30 reminded me that when grace meets consistency, the sky isn’t the limit; it’s just the beginning. @veekee_james, thank you for showing me what grace in motion looks like. You’re not just turning 30; you’re walking deeper into destiny.

My prayer is simple: May your days be light, your nights restful, and your name whispered in rooms you’ve prayed for.
More grace. More laughter. More of Him (God). Amen“.

Last year, Veekee James shared the humble beginnings of her life as an aspiring fashion designer. In a feature by CNN, Veekee narrated how she started making clothes in her mother’s living room until she moved to Akwa Ibom to attend college. The celebrity fashion designer said that she was able to move her mother out of their old apartment into a new one in 2020.

Also, Last year, in the wake of Ghanaian actress Nana Addo’s AMVCA outfit drama, Veekee advised designers not to lose touch with the value of their craft. She shared how when she first started out, some celebrities wanted to pay her less in the name of exposure, but she stood her ground, and today, many of them want to work with her.

Veekee James is currently one of the most sought-after fashion designers in Nigeria, with a portfolio containing dresses for celebrities like Osas Ighodaro, Uche Montana, and a host of other top shots in the entertainment industry.

One of the styles Veekee James is known for in design is her invisible corsets. She has clearly mastered her craft and has made a name for herself.
