Why I can’t womanise – Actor Timini Egbuson

Timini Egbuson 2
Timini Egbuson, a popular Nollywood actor, has addressed the common belief that he is a womanizer.
In a recent episode of The Culture League podcast, he explained that his demanding schedule as an actor leaves him with little time for romantic pursuits.
At 38 years old, Timini shared that his work in Nollywood occupies so much of his day that he often questions how his friends manage to womanize.
He typically spends his day on set and often finishes work around 11 p.m., leaving him too exhausted to engage in dating, let alone juggle multiple relationships.
During the podcast, which also featured Super Eagles star Victor Boniface and comedian Bovi, Timini revealed that he has been single for the past two to three years. He stated, “A lot of people assume that I’m a womanizer, but I’m not. Over the past two to three years, Nollywood has taken over my life to the point where there’s no time for that—unless someone is very unserious about it.
“I often wonder how some of my friends can womanize and date four or five girls simultaneously. After being on set all day and returning home tired at 11 p.m., I just don’t have the energy to start chatting with someone. I really don’t have the capacity for that. So, I’m not out there living the lifestyle people think I am.”
While acknowledging that the public perceives him as a “bad boy,” Timini admitted he finds this image entertaining. However, he emphasized that it does not accurately reflect his real-life choices.
