Dr Joe Abah has explained that he does not advise women, and he gave reasons for this.

The governance expert explained that African women get too much unsolicited advice but African men get too little advice. As a result, he focuses on men.

He wrote: “I don’t advise women because I believe African women get too much unsolicited (and often unhelpful) advice, while African men get too little.

“Nobody talks to the men about how to be good men, good sons, good husbands, good fathers, good brothers, good citizens. I try to do that.”
