Tiktok sensation, Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has revealed that his decision to convert to Christianity was shaped by painful experiences from his childhood.
Naijaonpoint reports that the content creator, who shared his story during a live chat with fans, said he grew up attending a Quranic school, also called Ile Kewu, where he faced harsh punishments.
According to him, those difficult moments left lasting emotional wounds and gradually made him distance himself from Islam.
Peller explained that the beatings he received as a child while learning the Quran turned him away from religious schooling and eventually led him to seek a new spiritual path.
He now openly identifies as a Christian and attends church.
“I’m not a Muslim. I’m a Christian. I go to church. I was beaten severely when I was young at the Quranic School. That’s why I stopped going”, he declared.
Meanwhile, Gospel singer, Chidinma Ekile, has opened up about a spiritual journey she took after returning from the United States.
Naijaonpoint reports that the singer revealed that she went through a long period of prayer and fasting on a mountain.
According to her, she spent 40 days in the wilderness, seeking direction from God, and encountered both divine presence and a disturbing moment that tested her faith.
She explained that the period was marked by emotional pain, intense prayers, and a deep personal struggle.
During her stay on the mountain, she said she slept outside and focused entirely on crying out to God through songs and prayers.
