In a post via his Instagram story on Wednesday, the ‘Stand Tall’ crooner explained that he has Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and is triggered by being startled on stage, like the incident that happened during the concert. The Afrobeat singer further urged fans to respect his boundaries while expressing gratitude for their support. He said, “It was a free show. I was supposed to do 10mins and did almost an hour. Everybody knows my rule about getting on stage and startling me when I’m performing. “I had an amazing time with Lagos State last night. Don’t jump on my stage like that! I got PTSD. I love you all. Happy new year.” Meanwhile, Burna Boy, recently made a cryptic social media post after his colleague, Speed Darlington, was released from police detention. Naijaonpoint reports that the issue of Burna Boy and Speed Darlington began after the latter affiliated the ‘City Boys’ crooner with the embattled American rapper, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who is currently facing multiple sexual exploitation and human trafficking charges. On November 27, 2023, Darlington was rearrested barely two months after his first arrest by Burna Boy. After spending almost four weeks in police detention in Abuja, Speed Darlington was granted bail on Monday, 23 December 2024.
