Senator Lere Oyewumi has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to Governor Ademola Adeleke and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The PDP lawmaker stated this on Friday, while responding to a netizen on X(formerly twitter) who commended the stance of the National assembly caucus.
He wrote, “Good evening, sir. I hope you’re doing well. I hope this message finds you well and in high spirits. I’ve been following the political developments in Osun, particularly the stance of the National Assembly caucus. I commend you Senator Lere Oyewumi”
Responding, senator expressed gratitude for the support of his constituents, emphasizing their encouragement as a driving force in his political journey.
Oyewumi highlighted his dedication to loyalty and service, values he considers central to his leadership approach. He stressed the importance of standing firm in his convictions, particularly during challenging political times.
The senator pledged to continue supporting Governor Adeleke’s administration in Osun State. He believes in the governor’s vision for progress and development, which aligns with his own goals for the state.
Oyewumi also reiterated his allegiance to the PDP, describing it as a party rooted in serving the people. He vowed to work tirelessly to advance the party’s objectives and maintain its unity.
He acknowledged the difficulties of staying true to principles in politics, calling the path of integrity challenging but rewarding.
