American rapper Offset has opened up on why his marriage to Cardi B did not last.
Naijaonpoint reports that Migos artist said he no longer sees marriage as part of his life after experiencing it and having three children together.
Offset and Cardi B secretly married in September 2017 and share three children: Kulture, Wave, and Blossom.
Cardi B filed for divorce from him for a second time in August 2024, though the process has not been finalized.
Since then, Cardi B has moved on and is dating NFL player Stefon Diggs, while Offset remains single.
During a recent interview on Full Send Podcast, Offset explained that the commitments required for marriage and even serious relationships are too demanding for him, especially given his career and lifestyle.
He added that making a relationship work often requires changing one’s life entirely, which he is not willing to do again.
“It’s not for me. I’ve done it, had three kids with it. It’s like a mission that’s been complete. I experienced it.
“Even getting a girlfriend is such a big commitment how we move, like our career. I’m tired.
“Unless you’re cool with changing your life entirely… It’s different, especially when it’s written and it’s a real thing.”
Offset recently released his album KIARI on August 22, 2025, featuring collaborations with artistes like YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Gunna, YFN Lucci, Ty Dolla $ign, John Legend, and Key Glock.
