A faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aligned with the Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, and led by Abdulrahman Mohammed, has called for an emergency meeting of the party’s national executive committee (NEC) and board of trustees (BoT), scheduled for Tuesday.
According to the notice, the meetings will hold at the PDP national secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Abuja.
The announcement, issued by Samuel Anyanwu — a close associate of Wike — stated that the BoT meeting would commence at 11 a.m., while the NEC session is slated for 2 p.m. at the same venue.
The party stressed that attendance is mandatory because “crucial matters” will be considered during the sessions.
The planned gathering will be the 103rd emergency NEC meeting of the PDP.
