According To Our Reporter, Imeabe Oscar, National President of the South-South Youth Initiative, has revealed that FCT Minister Nyesom Wike is pushing for a staggering ₦400 billion supplementary budget on top of Rivers State’s existing allocation.
Speaking on News Central TV, Oscar said this huge financial demand lies at the heart of the political tussle between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and Wike-loyal lawmakers.
He condemned the impeachment drive as politically motivated, causing stalled projects, economic hardship, and deep public frustration.
Oscar urged calm and dialogue, warning that ongoing instability risks undermining democracy and development in Rivers.
