The eleventh annual Yale Environment 360 Film Contest is open for submissions, seeking the best environmental films worldwide.

This prestigious contest aims to showcase compelling work that sheds light on pressing environmental issues.

Judging Panel

  • Esteemed judges for the contest include Yale Environment 360 executive editor Roger Cohn, Pulitzer Prize winner and e360 contributor Elizabeth Kolbert, and Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker Thomas Lennon.

  • Second place: $2,000
  • Third place: $1,000
  • Winning entries will be featured on Yale Environment 360.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Submissions should address environmental issues and have a maximum duration of 20 minutes.
  • Films funded by organizations or companies and primarily focused on promoting those entities are ineligible.
