Nigerian singer and politician Bankole Wellington better known as Banky W is returning to school for his Masters.

The singer and husband of actress Adesua Etomi shared the good news on his Instagram page with a photo of him, his wife, and their son. He revealed that he was returning to school for a Masters degree in Policy Management at Georgetown University in Washington DC.

He disclosed that his new journey is for his family, faith, and finding purpose as he called for prayers.

“For family. For faith. For finding purpose.
For the next year of earning a Masters degree in Policy Management at Georgetown University in Washington DC.

Wish us well”.

Banky W isn’t the only one who is returning to school. Mary Njoku, the wife of Iroko boss, Jason Njoku, had revealed that she was furthering her education at the prestigious American University.

In June, she revealed that she had beat 170 successful Entrepreneurs from 48 countries at Harvard University to win the Harvard OPM64 Idol. Describing it as surreal, she questioned who knew their dream was valid and expressed how sad she was that she wasn’t alive to share the moment with her.

Banky W would add to the list of celebrities with a Masters. In July, Yoruba actor Akeem Adeyemi earned a Master’s Degree in International Business from the United Kingdom. Akeem Adeyemi shared the delightful news on his Instagram page with cheering words to mark the new milestone in his career.

Actress Wumi Toriola, last year, announced the completion of her Master’s Degree at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology with a grateful message to her new friends. In April of this year, she penned a heartfelt appreciation as she shared photos from her Convocation.

Additionally, Jumoke Odetola had bagged a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Sharing photos from her graduation ceremony, she noted how she started well and now had finished successfully.
