One Shamini Anase, a friend of a Nigerian woman who d!ed eleven months after her wedding has shared screenshots of chats between the deceased’s husband and his side chick.
LIB earlier reported that Doosuur Henrietta Agbatar d!ed on July 31, 2025.
Henrietta left behind over 600 screenshots of the intimate chats between her husband and his married lover which she discovered after cloning his WhatsApp.
She also left behind over 30 pages of her personal diary detailing the emotional and physical abuse, financial exploitation, infidelity and negligence she experienced in the marriage. Nigerian fashion trends
Her brother, Barrister Joe Agbatar in a post on Facebook, alleged that Henrietta d!ed from a heart failure developed over time “due to the merciless snare she got roped into”
Barrister Agbatar added that his sister’s life changed for the worse immediately after her wedding in August 2024.
According to a petition made by her family to the police and obtained by the Premium Times, Henrietta had been battling chest pains for about a week and requested medical care on the evening of 31 July.
At around 6:30 p.m., her husband, Mr Awen, reportedly picked her up from her workplace at the International Market IDP camp in Makurdi.
Despite her gasping for breath and being unable to walk short distances properly, she pleaded with him to take her to the hospital, which was just 600 metres away. But Mr Awen refused and insisted they go home first.
A staff member of the family-owned NGO, where Mrs Awen served as executive director, reportedly witnessed this conversation and later relayed it to the family.
By 8:19 p.m., Mr Awen allegedly told the petitioner’s wife over the phone that he had taken his wife to the hospital.
However, when her brother, Mr Agbatar, rushed to the facility before 9 p.m., the deceased was already dead. Medical staff on duty confirmed that she had died before being brought in.
The family painted a troubling picture of her 11-month marriage to Mr Awen, alleging that he sold their mother’s Toyota Highlander SUV (registration number MKD28RC), which he collected through his wife, promising to replace it but never did.
Instead, he allegedly bought himself a Toyota Camry. He forced Henrietta to loan him N4 million from the NGO’s funds, which he allegedl partly used to buy land.
He pressured her to step down as executive director of the family’s NGO and hand over control to him, just weeks after their wedding in August 2024.
“He subjected her to psychological, emotional, and physical abuse, including ignoring her calls for help during a health crisis in March 2025,” the petition read.
In one alleged incident shortly after their wedding, staff of the NGO were summoned by Mr Awen and told: “Since you have always disrespected me, I have gone for the boss and now have her in my pocket.”
According to the petition, Mrs Awen confided in family members about threats and abuse but pleaded with them not to intervene for fear of worsening the situation.
The family alleged that by June or July, Henrietta had resolved to end the marriage and was waiting to secure funds to further her studies abroad.
In a lengthy Facebook post on Friday, September 5, Shamini Anase detailed the affair between Sefa and the side chick identified as Loveth, who had been involved with brother.
She also shared the over 600 screenshots of the chats between Sefa and Loveth, who also participated in their wedding as a grooms lady.
Shamini claimed that Sefa and Loveth slept together the night before the wedding and even after the ceremony.
According to Shamini, Henrietta discovered the intimate chats between Loveth and Sefa after she cloned into his WhatsApp.
She was said to have developed high blood pressure three months after her wedding due to the discovery. Read the full post below:
What Happened to Our Friend Doosuur Henrietta Agbatar? These are the details we know.
Doosuur was ill for about a week before her passing. She complained of chest pains and shortness of breath and had been receiving treatment.
On the evening of 31st July 2025, when Sefa Awen, the man she loved and married, came to pick her up from work at about 6:30pm, she was visibly weak and could hardly walk short distances. He took her home instead of taking her to the hospital.
He had this usual way of scolding her whenever she was sick and saying she was only pretending so that he’ll pay attention to her. Information and documents available to us from verified public institutions reveal that by about 7:40pm, instead of being rushed to care, her lifeless body was delivered to the hospital.
When Barr. Joe arrived before 9pm, he touched her body and realised she was already cold in death. The nurse confirmed she had been gone for a while before arrival. Dr. Uzer, a medical professional, confirmed he had received a call at about 7:18pm from her phone asking for a prescription and within barely thirty minutes her body was presented to him, lifeless.
Up till now, no explanation has been offered for what transpired between 6:30pm and 7:40pm when she was in Sefa’s care.
The tragedy of that night cannot be separated from the life of abuse and betrayal Doosuur endured in the eleven months of marriage.
From the beginning it has been revealed that Sefa was exploitative. He collected Doosuur’s mother’s Toyota Highlander SUV through Doosuur, sold it without disclosure, and never replaced it as he promised. Instead, he used the proceeds to buy a Toyota Camry in his own name.
He pressured Doosuur into granting him a N4 million loan from the family NGO she led, which he used partly to buy land and relentlessly pestered her to start building on the land. She also established a laundry business for him in North bank.
He wanted absolute control. Within two weeks of their wedding, after he moved into Doosuur’s apartment… yes, they lived in her apartment as he didn’t have one, he demanded that she resign as Executive Director of the NGO and sit put as house wife so he could take over. This was a man Doosuur herself had employed.
At some point Doosuur was not worthy to sit on the Executive Director’s chair, but because she loved Sefa so much, even if she was sitting on the ED’s chair, for peace to reign she would get up so that he could sit as the ED. I worked in the same NGO and I know this fact personally.
In a meeting I attended shortly before the wedding he openly told staff that since some of us had always looked down on him, he had gone for the boss and now had her in his pocket, he then gave us the wedding invitation card.
Doosuur refused to step down and confided in us, pleading that we keep her disclosures secret as Sefa had threatened her that if their issues became public their marriage would be over. She begged us not to even share this with her family members.
The abuse was also emotional and physical. He flaunted his affairs with other ladies, hardly ever slept at home, and brazenly made calls to other women in her presence.
By 20th January 2025, Sefa Awen had even proposed a secret marriage to one Loveth Orva, also known as Love Loveth on Facebook.
What Pastor Awen and the Awen family hides from the public is that Loveth had previously been in an intimate affair with Sefa’s own brother, David Awen.
It was from a dispute between Sefa and Loveth over David that Doosuur first discovered their involvement. Later she uncovered intimate chats on Sefa’s phone which confirmed her worst fears.
The mistake Doosuur made was to clone into his WhatsApp for a very long time to see all that he was doing with Loveth. She left proof of this, screenshots of their conversations which she wanted to use as evidence to divorce him.
Clearly, Loveth single-handedly destroyed that marriage.
Imagine knowing your husband’s every step while he looks into your face and goes out to sleep with another woman, but because you love him so much you decide never to confront him again after he insulted and threatened you for confronting him once before, and then you bottle it all up until your heart fails and you die. Doosuur developed blood pressure three months after her wedding.
She discovered that Loveth had slept in the same hotel with Sefa and dressed him up on the wedding morning. Loveth later sent Sefa a chat to “Go forth and be a good husband.”
Then Loveth dressed up in trousers and participated in the wedding train as a “groomsman”.
After the wedding Sefa still left Doosuur in their hotel room, went to spend time with Loveth and returned to meet Doosuur in the early hours of the next morning.
This is actually what prompted Doosuur to investigate what was going on and discovered that Sefa was having an affair with a person he saved on his phone as Anshawa with her foreign number and Lyuba with her Nigerian number. She later discovered that these were aliases for Loveth Orva whose Facebook page is Love Loveth, she is a married woman.Nigerian fashion trends
In his chats with her, Sefa expressed how proud he is to lick her nyash. Yeah, you read that right, nyash. Your innocent dude licked another man’s wife’s anus and chatted about it proudly.
Why wouldn’t Doo develop high blood pressure discovering this?
This hit a very severe toll on Doo’s health. In March 2025 she collapsed in their home and he ignored her calls for help until Barr. Joe intervened by calling him and asking him to take her to hospital. In her dairy she states that he later scolded her for trying to implicate him by calling her brother to tell him her situation and the fact that he refused to take her to hospital.
Despite this suffering, she pleaded with Barr. Joe not to confront Sefa since they were seeing a marriage counsellor. She told me that it is Mrs. Victoria Daor.
That woman knew Doosuur’s predicaments in detail. In fact Doosuur told me that after one of her counselling sessions with them the counselor told Sefa that if Doosuur was her daughter she would beat her and pack her things back home.
In early April Barr. Joe told her he would come and pack her things, but she pleaded that that they were seeing a counsellor and she should be given a little time.
She said Sefa appears to be making efforts to make things right and had even taken her to Mango World where they spent time and had a photoshoot. Well it appears a wicked man can only pretend for a while…
It will interest you to know that as of June Doo had made up her mind to leave that marriage. She made plans to travel abroad to further her studies and start life afresh.
Sadly, Doosuur never lived to carry out that plan. She d!ed just when the money she needed to travel abroad was about to drop in her account.
That was when some of us started hearing that Doosuur was about the 3rd woman to d!e while in a relationship with Sefa. In his own chats with Loveth he expressed concerns that anyone that comes close to him ends up dying, she reassured him that she won’t die. You will read the chats soon. Don’t worry.
Now if you’re still in doubt where Sefa’s priorities lay, you may wish to consider his actions less than fourteen hours after her death.
On the morning of 1st August 2025, at about 7:30am, he summoned us (staff of the NGO) to a meeting and declared: “As you all know, Madam is officially dead now. I am now in charge and work must continue…” That statement speaks louder than any sermon about compassion and self interest.
Based on this and more, we find it funny that Pastor Awen turned around to accuse Barr. Joe of invading their home and seizing property. First of all it is Doosuur’s apartment and Sefa Awen only moved in to live with her.
The items retrieved were strictly organisational assets including: the organization’s incorporation documents, a phone belonging to Doosuur’s mother but used for NGO the work which had all the NGO’s banking apps and her mother’s banking apps, a laptop, and an iPad all belonging to and used for the NGO’s activities.
Before he went there Barr. Joe called Sefa and Pastor Victor aside and explained what he needed and why he needed them. Sefa himself, together with one Amos his friend led Barr. Joe to the house pointed out where the items were kept. Yet in their public statements they pretended he stormed the house unauthorized.
In reality, he acted to protect organisational property at a time when Sefa had already begun positioning himself as successor, less than a day after Doosuur’s passing.
To then hear Pastor Awen speak of compassion and process while ignoring the abuse, the infidelity, the financial exploitation, and the gross insensitivity of his brother is to insult the memory of Doosuur. She was not just a wife who could be replaced. She was our friend, even if her family has let go, we will use what we know to set records straight.
She lived through betrayal, exploitation, and abuse, and she died in deeply suspicious circumstances. For Pastor Awen to now talk about things in scripture and sentiment while hiding the truth is pathetic.
The Awen family are terrible people, including the Pastor. You all said there was no diary, right? Now you all will soon read it with your eyes and concoct another slew of falsehood in defense.
The diary, reveals that even the Awen family knew what Doosuur was passing through. Thankfully we got these before the family decided to let go. No one can stop us from publishing them.
You must not shoot a person before you kill that person. Loveth and Sefa killed our friend. She died of heart failure and depression.
If Sefa was truly a loving husband, why would his wife write mostly of terrible experiences with him?
If he was truly a good person, why did his sister Shidoo who Doosuur also employed say that she wanted to control Sefa but that their family is wiser and Doosuur will continue suffering in the marriage?
They cannot bury both her body and the truth. We, her friends, will not be silenced.
We owe Doosuur the truth, and we shall restore her dignity by exposing the truth.
Even if this will not bring our Booboo back, it will save the next woman that might have fallen victim to Sefa’s trail of women ending up dead for being in a relationship with him.
We would continue to share the screenshots, few at a time. May Booboo’s memory be blessed.
