The minister of defence, Christopher Musa, on Monday embarked on a familiarisation tour of departments and major facilities at the ministry of defence headquarters, Ship House, Abuja.
Musa, a Retired General, was accompanied by the permanent secretary, Pheel Langwa.
During the tour, Musa received briefings from departmental heads, inspected ongoing projects and interacted with staff across various units.
He said the visit was part of efforts to deepen internal coordination, improve administrative processes and strengthen operational effectiveness in the ministry.
Musa also reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to aligning its work with national defence priorities.
