Former Super Eagles captain Sunday Oliseh has showered praises on Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie after she finished fourth in the 2025 Women’s Yashin Trophy, Soccernet.ng reports.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) had earlier taken to social media to congratulate the Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper for her historic recognition.

“Congratulations to @NGSuper_Falcons safe hands Chiamaka Nnadozie on her fourth-place finish at this year’s Ballon d’Or Ceremony,” the federation wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Reacting to ..., Oliseh—who enjoyed successful spells at Juventus and Borussia Dortmund during his career—reposted the NFF’s message and added his own heartfelt tribute.

“This is worth celebrating big time. Bravo sis!” Oliseh wrote.

Nnadozie, who moved to the English Women’s Super League this summer after a stellar spell at Paris FC, has enjoyed a sensational year.

She played a key role in Nigeria’s 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations triumph, where she was named Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament.

At club level, she guided Paris FC to a famous Coupe de France Féminine victory, saving two penalties in the final against Paris Saint-Germain before sealing a move to Brighton.
