Nollywood actress, Wumi Toriola, has penned an emotional message to veteran actress, Peju Ogunmola, who recently opened up about her healing journey following the death of her only son.
Naijaonpoint reports that the actress and her husband, veteran actor Sunday Omobolanle, popularly known as Papi Luwe, lost Ayomikun,
After the unfortunate incident, there were speculations about the cause of the youngster’s death.
However, the family’s spokesperson, Yemi Amodu, released a statement clarifying that Ayomikun died after a brief illness in Ibadan and had since been buried.
Amodu said contrary to the claims spreading on social media, Ayomikun did not die from a bathroom accident or any form of domestic mishap.
After weeks of mourning, the thespian took to Instagram to reflect on her healing journey and thanked everyone who supported her through the pain which she described as one of the darkest seasons of her life.
The thespian stated that she now feels stronger and ready to fully return to work.
In response, Wumi Toriola reposted the video on her page and showered praises on the veteran actress, describing her as “a strong woman and more.”
She wrote, “Your strength and resilience is everything. Returning to your craft with courage and determination is a testament to your unbreakable spirit. I celebrate you ma.”
