WATCH THE VIDEO HERE Yak Gotti, one of Young Thug’s codefendants in the YSL RICO trial, was found not guilty on all charges. Both men were charged in a 2015 drive-by shooting outside an Atlanta barbershop which ended in the death of rival gang member Donovan Thomas Jr., also known as “Big Nut.” SB also was charged in the 2022 shooting death of Shymel Drinks. The trial has now ended after Shannon Stillwell, aka SB, was convicted of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. SB was sentenced to 10 years, with two years to serve and he will serve the rest of his sentence on probation. The trial was one of the longest in Georgia history, beginning back in 2022. Yak Gotti made headlines on Sunday after he was stabbed in the Fulton County jail. His injuries were not life-threatening and he was back in court on Monday. “I spoke to Deamonte last night, and while he sounded tired I expect him to make a full recovery. I expect to be able to see him in court today and will know more then,” his attorney, Doug Weinstein, wrote on X at the time. “Please keep Deamonte in your prayers, along with all those housed in our Fulton county jails.” [social_warfare]
