Nigerian businessman and philanthropist Olakunle Churchill has reacted to rumours of a rift with his actress wife, Rosy Meurer.
Taking to his Instagram page, he questioned why he was trending as he revealed that his wife and kids are in Disney Paris enjoying summer life.
Churchill stated that his haters would wait for menopause to come before him and his wife would divorce.
“I hear say I dey trend who cook am?
My family dey Disney Paris dey enjoy summer life. Una go wait until menopause come. Meh, I see you.
My people, my wife, no get staff or friends, una don make we trend today. Thanks. “
Since Churchill married Rosy Meurer, following his divorce from Tonto Dikeh, his marriage has been embroiled yearly with divorce rumors.
In August, 2023, anonymous Instagram blogger, Gistlover alleged that their marriage was on the rock over infidelity and domestic violence. The blog claimed that Churchill hadn’t been sleeping at home and had been beating Rosy, who is the breadwinner of the family, and puts on a facade online when she praises her husband.
In December, the couple was hit with another scandal as the same blogger alleged that Churchill was planning to take another wife, Lisa Yaro, and had been beaten Rosy on several occasions because of her. To further fuel the rumors, Churchill took to his Instagram page to pour praises on her.
However, despite the rumors, the couple welcomed a second child, a baby girl and celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary in December.
Last year, the lovebirds also celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary. The couple took to Instagram to share beautiful memories and celebrate their union.
Rosy Meurer promised Churchill of forever with him. The mother of two stated that their marriage was timeless and that she would forever belong to her husband. Churchill, on his side, declared his love to his wife, as he shared a video on his page capturing lovely moments of his wife and their children.
