Yamal and teammates dance to Skales’ ‘Shake Body’ after Barca’s Copa del Rey win over Madrid

Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal was spotted celebrating alongside his teammates to Skales’ hit song Shake Body following their Copa del Rey victory over Real Madrid, Soccernet.ng reports.

The 2015 hit song was recently brought back to life when Yamal, while on international duty with Spain, danced to it alongside teammates Nico Williams and Samu Aghehowa.

After Barcelona’s thrilling 3-2 win against Real Madrid—secured by goals from Pedri, Ferran Torres, and Jules Kounde—the 17-year-old was again seen dancing to Shake Body with the rest of the squad during their celebrations.

Yamal Meets Skales

Nigerian music star Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, finally met the Barcelona sensation who helped revive his song’s popularity after many years.

Following the victory at Estadio La Cartuja in Sevilla, Skales was spotted exchanging pleasantries with Yamal in a video shared on Instagram.

He captioned it: “FORÇA BARÇA!!! Felicidades, Barcelona!! Lamine Yamal, Alejandro Balde. It was an honour to meet you all and perform at your celebration party. Well done, boys.”

As earlier reported by Soccernet.ng, Skales had also met Yamal’s mother, Sheila Ebana, and his brother Keyne before the match, in what appeared to be a cheerful meet-and-greet moment.

The resurgence of Shake Body has been remarkable, with the song surpassing 1 million monthly Spotify listeners after Yamal’s TikTok video featuring the track amassed over 13.5 million views.
