YEIDEP Grant Disbursement Update for June 2025
According to the previously released YEIDEP schedule of activities, which you can find here: FMYD Released YEIDEP Program Payment Date and Schedule Activities. The collection of bank account details from YEIDEP applicants is set to run from June 1st to June 10th, 2025.
Registration for the YEIDEP program officially closed on May 31st, 2025, with over 5 million Nigerians applying to take part.
The program isn’t just about providing financial help. Beneficiaries will receive grants of up to ₦500,000, which do not need to be repaid. These funds are aimed at supporting small businesses, especially those in agribusiness and agro-processing.
In addition to the grant, participants will benefit from entrepreneurship training, hands-on technical skill development, and continuous mentorship to help them grow and sustain their ventures. The program will also include close monitoring of each business to support long-term success.
The next phase involves reviewing the more than five million applications, shortlisting eligible candidates, sending direct payments to verified bank accounts, enrolling youth in training programs, and establishing a system of continuous support. These steps are designed to prevent mismanagement and ensure that only deserving candidates benefit from the initiative.
