‘You Can’t Tell People Not To Rejoice Over Buhari’s Death’ – Solomon Buchi

Solomon Buchi

Naijaonpoint reports that the writer said people cannot be forced to mourn a leader whose time in office brought them pain.

In a post on 𝕏, Buchi acknowledged that while some may want to preach compassion and respect for the dead, it is unfair to silence those who suffered during Buhari’s rule.

According to him, real people lost their lives, endured deep hardship, and lived through extreme suffering due to the failures of Buhari’s administration.

He wrote “I know we all want to get preachy, but you cannot ask people who were negatively impacted by Buhari’s presidency not to rejoice over his death. Real lives were lost, real people suffered and real families endured extreme suffering.

“Buhari’s life isn’t more important than all the lives wasted as a result of his clueless government. You can’t force legacy how you live determines how people feel when you pass away. It’s not wickedness; it’s consequence.”

Meanwhile, Reality TV star, Natasha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has reacted to the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Naijaonpoint reports that the former Big Brother Naija housemate described him as a major figure in Nigeria’s history.

In a post shared on 𝕏, shortly after the news broke, Tacha acknowledged that while people may hold different opinions about Buhari, his role in shaping Nigeria’s journey cannot be denied.

She wrote, “No matter your views, Muhammadu Buhari was a major part of Nigeria’s story. RIP💔”
