Nigerian singer Peter Okoye has responded to a Twitter user who criticised him over his post about rich people and shame.
Kemi Filani reported hours ago that Peter had shared photos of himself with billionaire Aliko Dangote, noting that rich people don’t have shame and chase opportunities. He made it known that shame is for the broke ones.
Reacting to it, an X user pointed out the irony in which Peter said he has no shake, yet went for a hair transplant. He stated that the singer should have kept to his word and pursued the opportunity.
The x user noted that people are quick to advise until it’s their turn, and then things change.
“You no get shame, but you go do hair transplant,
You for baldishly dey pursue opportunity.
Advice just full everyone’s mouth until e reach their turn”.
Responding to him, Peter reminded him that he had no shame, but was still showing off to the world that he had an implant.
“Remember, I had no shame but still showing it off to the world that I had an implant! Get it!”.
A week ago, the singer had responded to a troll who admonished him to kill pride and make peace with his brother. Peter responded, telling him to cry harder and gave him a bucket to cry more.
On his Twitter page, a while back, Peter, while responding to a tweep, announced the end of their band. Peter made it known that there is no Psquare anymore; he is his own Square. He said that Jude and Paul are the new Psquare and urged Nigerians to manage them.
Months back, Peter threw a subtle shade at his family as he sent a message to the general public, stating that one shouldn’t allow family to be the reason they’re drowning in silence. He noted how he did for over 20 years, and it cost me everything. Peter noted how love doesn’t manipulate, loyalty doesn’t betray, and family doesn’t steal from you.
Recall that in 2023, Psquare had fallen out again because of the joint funds being diverted by their elder brother, Jude Okoye.
Peter, noted how Paul, rather than joining forces with him to reclaim their number one spot in the music industry, chose to team up with their elder brother, Jude, to marginalise and humiliate him.
