Raphael Onyedika is set to miss the next six weeks due to a hamstring injury…
Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has offered strength to his national teammate Raphael Onyedika after he sustained a hamstring injury in Club Brugge’s 5-5 draw against Westerlo on Wednesday, Soccernet.ng reports.
Onyedika has been a consistent performer for Club Brugge since joining from Midtjylland three years ago.
The 24-year-old defensive midfielder was in the lineup for their game on Wednesday. But he had to be subbed off after just 16 minutes, as he could not continue due to an injury.
Recent reports suggest that Onyedika suffered a hamstring injury. And this will keep him sidelined for at least six weeks.
This injury comes at a very bad time for him, as he is in great form. Also, he is an important player for Club Brugge, and with the Jupiler Pro League and the UEFA Champions League still on, he would be a big miss.
There is also the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers for Nigeria coming up next month which Onyedika will miss.

Following Onyedika’s injury blow, Boniface reposted a picture of the midfielder on his Instagram page and captioned it, “stay strong broski”.
The Werder Bremen striker then jokingly wrote “if you like give up sha.”

Boniface and Onyedika have a very good personal relationship. Both players are usually together in the Super Eagles camp and often share videos of each other on social media.
