Nigerian comedian Ayo Makun is singing the praises of his junior colleague, Warri Pikin.
Kemi Filani reported on Sunday that Warri Pikin and her husband had welcomed their third child, a baby girl. The comedian shared the good news on her Instagram page, posting photos of her family with the newborn.
Taking to his Instagram page to rejoice with her, Ayo congratulated her on the arrival of her baby. He noted how Warri Pikin has always been a strong and inspiring woman, and seeing her welcome her bundle of joy warms his heart.
The comedian prayed that this new chapter brings her and her family more laughter, peace, and countless blessings.
“Congratulations to my dear sister and colleague @realwarripikin for the safe arrival of our beautiful baby. You have always been a strong and inspiring woman, and seeing you welcome this new bundle of joy truly warms my heart. In other news, Ayo had reacted to rumours of reconciling with his estranged wife, Mabel Makun. Describing such rumours as false, incessant and insensitive, he threatened to take legal action.
Recall that in April, 2023, AY confirmed the end of his almost 20-year relationship with Mabel, expressing regrets for losing his home, and also admitted to doing things that were compromising during the marriage.
Mabel also broke her silence, stating that her dreams of a lifelong marriage had taken a different direction and pleaded with the media and public to give them privacy as they navigate their new phase.
Following his separation from his wife of over decades and mother of his two kids, Blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus alleged that AY had been denied access to his second daughter by his estranged wife, Mabel Makun.
Confirming the report as true, in January, AY shared an emotional video of him reuniting with his daughter for her birthday. The box office King had surprised her with cake and more in her school. In the clip, the toddler who was overjoyed seeing her fan ran to him in a warm embrace and the comedian carried her.
Mabel has since moved on and was recently spotted with her new boo at an event. The interior designer, in a video was seen on a boat cruise with her rumored boyfriend, and elsewhere on the clip, they were seen holding hands.
