A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe, has said that former National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Okey Ralph Nwosu, is the luckiest man in the party.

Naijaonpoint reports that a coalition of opposition figures in the country on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, adopted the ADC as its platform to unseat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election.

Nwosu, a founding member and long-serving national chairman of the party, had, alongside other party executives, stepped down for former Senate President David Mark and other coalition members as they assumed leadership of the party.

Reacting, Igbokwe, in a post on his official Facebook page, insinuated that Nwosu had struggled for the party for many years, and it is his time to cash out.

His post reads: “The luckiest man in this ADC Coalition is Chief Okey Nwosu. He has struggled with this party for many years now.

“Okey Nwannem collect as much as you can. It is your time. You laboured for it. But the small bird will not fly. Cash out bro.”

Meanwhile, former Minister of Transportation and two-term Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, has asserted that Nigeria was better economically and in terms of security under the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Amaechi, a member of the 2027 coalition, declared that President Bola Tinubu was never the right choice to lead Nigeria.

The former presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) said he has consistently questioned Tinubu’s capacity to govern and warned that the present administration has failed to meet Nigerians’ expectations.
