In a post shared on her Instagram page, she stated that she was reflecting on the past and teasing the future. The mother of two expressed gratitude to her amazing industry colleagues, her husband, her able distributors, and her fans. She appreciated them for holding her down when it mattered. Mercy also appreciated the fans who showed up at the Cinemas to watch her movie and also appreciated the Cinemas that supported her through the journey. On the first day of January, Aigbe had reminisced on her tough times. Sharing one of her highlights from 2024, she revealed that the past months came with a lot of gbas gbos, and she was shaken and tested, but she didn’t allow it to dictate her worth. Mercy further revealed that she drew strength, lessons, and wisdom from life’s experiences and used them to fuel her growth. While counting down to her birthday, the wife of Adeoti shared new photos of herself as she reflected on the past year. Mercy revealed that she won, lost, cried, laughed, loved, and learned a lot this year, however, her heart is filled with joy, praise, and gratitude. In the first week of December, while promoting her movie, Mercy revealed that she had lost her Lagos mansion to a fire incident. The movie star shared a video of the aftermath of her property, as she expressed how devastated she was. In an Instagram post, she recounted one of the challenging moments she faced while filming. She revealed that she woke up one morning on set and her eyes were swollen, and she couldn’t film. She said the pain was excruciating and she had to be hospitalized. Sharing more about her ordeal, Mercy stressed that the movie took a lot of pain, blood, and sweat.
