Nollywood actress Opeyemi Aiyeola has written an emotional note to her sons.
The movie star, who is back in Nigeria after celebrating the festive season with her kids overseas, revealed that she misses them. The proud mother said she is already having tears in her eyes from missing them so much.
She described her sons as her champs, everything, irreplaceable, true love, and light whose thoughts alone get her through her most miserable, hurtful, and difficult times.
Opeyemi appreciated them for understanding, support, and not being ashamed to express their love for her. She made it known that their words give her strength, hope, and confirmation that she is indeed blessed beyond measure.
“It’s only been a few days away from you, and Mum is already having tears in her eyes from missing you both so greatly.
My family, my sons, my champs, my everything, my irreplaceable, my true love, my light, whose thoughts alone get me through my most miserable, hurtful and difficult times.
Thank you for your understanding, support, and not being ashamed to always say, ‘ love you mum’ in the kindest and affectionate way.
Those words give me strength, hope and confirmation that I am indeed blessed beyond measure.

The Yoruba actress, in an interview, had opened up about how she blocked her colleagues in the industry after marriage because of her fear of divorce. The Yoruba actress recalled how she met her husband during the peak of her career and gave it up to start a family with him in London. She said that when she finally got herself back after ten years, she questioned who she had offended and told her husband it was time to focus on her career.
The actress tied the knot with her husband in 2007. The union is blessed with two children.
Recall that in 2022, Opeyemi had revealed the challenges she faced in her marriage and how she was able to overcome them. She shared a picture of her family while admitting that there were moments of “disagreement and huge fights” that almost threatened her marriage. She, however, stated that despite the imperfections, she and her husband have been able to stick together.
In other news, while celebrating her birthday, Opeyemi expressed gratitude to her Maker and thanked her beautiful friends, colleagues, fans and lovers, who she described as her special angels in human form.
