Young Thug is seemingly still firing shots Gunna’s way, and hopped on X, formerly Twitter to dish out some advice to rappers who turn snitch.
“If u a rapper and u a rat, u gotta just go gospel twin,” he tweeted.
Young Thug was released on October 31, 2024, after accepting a plea deal that resulted in a sentence of time served and 15 years of probation. His former artist and friend, Gunna, had been arrested with him but was released early after he accepted an Alford Plea.
While Gunna never testified against Thugger, the YSL head has still repeatedly claimed that Gunna turned on him.
“Gunna did NOT cooperate, and did NOTHING and said NOTHING to cause harm to Thug’s case,” Gunna’s attorney, Steve Sadow, said on social media back in January. “Both were charged with RICO. Both faced 20 yrs in prison. Both pled to RICO. Regardless, I’m more than willing to accept the blame for the great deal.”
Under Young Thug’s recent tweet, fans weighed in.
“We are listening to Gunna over you twin because you’re out of shape and you haven’t came correct in awhile,” one follower wrote.
“Subs at Gunna this n—a whole rollout. Newsflash G. The public don’t give no f–ks bout them archaic a– street politics. Them folk care about who make better music and Gunna been fucking over you n—as in that category. Stop subbin and get in the booth,” another person commented.
