Young Thug fans have been praying for the Atlanta rapper to drop a new project since his release from jail, but judging from a recent social media post, fans may have to beg him for any new music.

“Yall mfers goin have to beg me to drop this s–t nocizzy,” he wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Young Thug was released after a two-and-a-half-year stint behind bars.

The “Stoner” hitmaker copped a plea deal that had him walking free on October 31, 2024. Thugger pleaded guilty to a slew of charges, including gang activity and gun possession, but evaded major time with a sentence of 40 years… five years in the pen commuted to time served and the rest on probation.

Thugger received a ban from the Atlanta metro area for a decade as part of his release conditions. He must also keep his distance from known gang affiliates and serve the community by delivering anti-gang talks at schools.

While he’s yet to drop a solo project, the YSL Records boss wasted no time, hopping on Lil Baby’s track “Dum, Dumb, and Dumber” and locking in a headliner spot at the Summer Smash Festival this June.
