Nollywood couple Stan Nze and Blessing Obasi are celebrating their son, Jay, as he turns 2 today, August 18th, 2025.

Taking to his Instagram page, Stan described his son as a child who gives his father joy. He prayed that God’s love radiate in his heart and that he be the epitome of God’s peace. He prayed that God give his son great wisdom, way more than Solomon, and satisfy him with a long life.

Blessing expressed joy at how she went from having quiet prayers whispered in faith to loud laughter now echoing in their home. She described her son as a living proof that God is faithful. Blessing stated that she is celebrating the promise that was kept and fulfilled, and prayed that God’s hands will never depart from him.

The movie star added that her son is a gift wrapped in grace, preserved by love and flourishing under God’s covering.

In March, Stan had recounted how people called his wife barren and advised him not to be with her. He said that when he had nothing, Blessing stood by him and would save up just to help him. He questioned what type of man would make it and abandon such a woman, except that the person was ungrateful.

Stan Nze got married to his older colleague, Blessing Obasi, in 2021, and the couple welcomed their first child, a boy, in 2023.
